It’s a been a long road. A decade of manuscripts, characters, soul-stories and steeling myself not to quit, to keep going. This book started with my son: the knight, the pirate. The witch. I endeavoured to build a world for him where anyone could be magic, whilst my daughter grew inside me, spurring me on right through to The End. My wonderful agent, John Jarrold, kept the faith, seeing in my book everything I ever hoped it could be. And now - a mere few weeks before my daughter’s third birthday - I finally have news. Really exciting news!
I am delighted to announce that NewCon Press have acquired the rights to The Crafter’s Wife - my romantasy fairy tale that will appeal to readers of SPINNING SILVER by Naomi Novik and Sally Gardner’s SNOW SONG.
